cabici.net collects together details of all of the cycling races in the Sydney area in one place for easy reference. Race details are sourced from club websites and entered into the cabici database, either from calendar feeds or manually. My motivation for building this site is an interest in broadening my racing experience by riding in some different races. I was surprised to find out the range of races around Sydney and wanted to make it easier for riders to find races outside of their own club.
The latest update to the site allows club officials to login and manage their own race listings. If you are interested in doing this for your club, please get in touch.
This is a personal project, not a commercial enterprise; at the moment I''m supporting the site myself but in the future I might introduce some advertising to help pay site costs.
My name is Steve Cassidy, I ride in C grade with Waratah Masters CC in Sydney. I race most weeks in the Waratah''s races but have really enjoyed the few races I''ve done elsewhere which make a change and provide a new challenge.
